The total arm length gives the user a total of 37” from the center of the vertical pole to the center of the focus block. Approximately 15" vertical travel, plus/minus 7.5" from horizontal, is controlled via an adjustable gas spring counter balance providing a "safe" lift and descent. The counter balance also allows "free floating" of objects from 0- 20 lbs. An ambidextrous vertical position lock is provided. The arm accepts the industry standard 5/8" "Bonder" pin focus blocks, equipped with a OS-LAEA (Lift Arm End Adapter. The SAS-4 provides complete flexibility for smooth left to right horizontal and vertical movement and adjustment.
